A Homepage designed to reflect your relationship with Salesforce and evolves as it deepens. We created pathways to collect preferences and insights so that we can tailor a userʼs experience.This allows people to interact with Salesforce while also allowing Salesforce to reflect back what we know about them.

A membership hub that houses it all.

An evolution of the Today page in Trailblazer, but with an expanded purview. A destination for all future ideas: career paths, the career marketplace, rewards and gamification, progressive profiling, global preference center, etc. It also provides a global profile menu that provides hints of activity and clear pathways to daily actions.

A digital resume born from your engagement withSalesforce. Itʼs verified proof of your certifications, status and skills. Itʼs also customizable to allow users to keep autonomy but has the added value of being backed by Salesforce. One click sharing makes networking and applying for jobs easier.

An evolution of the events section. Allows for easy filtering and suggests events to users based on their preferences. Itʼs structure keeps all the events under one umbrella while still showing the vastness of available events. One click registration using your profile as your key. We audited riotgames.com and conducted a full ecosystem analysis

We scanned every page on riotgames.com, as well as several pages on other URLs (think Universe, LeagueofLegends.com, etc.), to evaluate the content and performance of the current experience.

We engaged with a community of current & prospective users

  • 14 mobile ethnographies - Over four days, we invited users to tell us about their gaming and entertainment habits, as well as their needs from RiotGames.com
  • 10 In-depth Interviews – We spoke with users to dig deeper into their needs from RiotGames.com and how Riot Games can best serve their unique needs.
  • Our users were split across the US and Europe and ran the spectrum of Riot Games super-fans through to prospects that enticed by Arcane but not yet actively playing Riot Games.

We co-created insights about our target users leveraging Data-Driven Insights and User Research

We did this through sharing stories about prospective and current users of RiotGames.com, focusing on their needs and goals from the site. Our data for these stories were based on what we discovered in our mobile ethnographies and one to one in depth user interviews.

After iterating on several different concepts for top level UX and content strategy, we built out several different versions of sitemaps to accommodate the future state ideas.

We didn’t stop at the homepage - we thoughtfully incorporated the entire Riot ecosystem in to the new sitemap. The ecosystem is so much more than what’s on RG - so we turned it into a gateway.

  • We did a mix of qualitative and quantitative research using Recollective and heat mapping techniques to understand what users are gravitating towards.
  • We identified what's working, what's unclear and what we could evolve in our final design.

We analyzed 73+ different apps and website experiences

We considered which factors make an app or experience hugely popular and successful, both in the wider world and in the family market.

We engaged with a community of
33 current, lapsed, & prospective
users

  • 16 In-depth Interviews – We spoke with users to dig deeper into their stories and how Ancestry can best serve their unique needs.
  • Existing State Diaries –  Participants walked through their experience with Ancestry, and their impressions and reactions.
  • Persona Diaries – Activities were focused around users' familial structures, values and how they share and communicate with family.

We co-created insights about our
prospective users

We did this through sharing stories about our prospect users, focusing on their needs and goals for family history. Our data for these stories included:

  • Several “persona diary” activities completed by each prospect user that focused on their family structure, history, personal identity, and social sharing.
  • 60-minute, in-depth interviews with eight of our prospect users that dug deeper into what was shared in persona diaries

We identified strategic areas of opportunities for new products to exist

Through our research, we were able to identify core themes which narrowed our focus to begin the product ideation phase of the project.

We conducted collaborative "Think Beyond" workshops

6 hours of collaborative workshops, spanned across 3 days, helped us identify key strategic insights and opportunity areas for future Ancestry product experiences based on user needs, behavior and goals. We came up with over 600 ideas!

    We narrowed down our ideas and brought to life 27 concepts

    We were able to bring to life our concepts through high level UX and Visual Design to better illustrate the core features and function of each individual experience.

    We tested each concept with potential users…

    We worked with potential users to talk them through each concept and have them score how each concept would fit into their lives.

    ...To prioritize our top 5 most popular concepts

    We were now able to identify the core concepts which were appealing to prospective users while also learning valuable insights along the way on how to better evolve each and every concept.
